His papers consists largely of genealogical and biographical materials on the Tatum family, obituaries, Christmas cards, six letters, a biographical sketch Alice Mabel Flagg [Mrs. E.F. Tatum], copy of information from Samuel O. Tatum's diary about going to Wake Forest in Jan. 1849, and photographs of Mr. and Mrs. E.F. Tatum, his wife, mother, and sister.
